Overview
The home page is your personalized dashboard in Forge. It greets you with a welcome message and gives you quick access to your AI coaches and activities.
First-Login Guided Tour
On your very first login, a 6-step guided tour walks you through the essentials: the home page, your first conversation, the chat input, the mobile app, attachments, and activities. You can skip it at any time with Skip — it won't be shown again afterwards.
Home Page Sections
Welcome Message
A personalized "Hello [First Name]" message is displayed at the top of the page.
Tool Connection Banner
If you haven't connected your tools yet (calendar, CRM, etc.), a banner prompts you to do so. Click on it to access connection settings. This banner can be dismissed.
Meetings
If you've connected your calendar, your upcoming meetings appear on the home page with the date, time, attendee count, and type (Meeting, Zoom, etc.). The See all link opens the full list. Each meeting offers two actions:
- Invite Forge — Adds Forge to the meeting so it can join (see the "Connect your calendar" article).
- Ask a coach — Opens a conversation with the meeting's context to help you prepare.
Signals
The Signals section surfaces proactive alerts from your connected tools (for example, an overdue HubSpot deal). You can:
- Filter signals by source (e.g., All, HubSpot).
- Click Ask a coach on a signal to open a conversation with the related context and decide what to do next.
Signals depend on the tools connected in Settings > Tools. With no tool connected, no signals appear.
My Latest Coaches
A horizontal scrollable list displays your AI coaches with:
- The coach's name and emoji icon.
- Your progress percentage with a visual bar.
- Current section info (e.g., "Chapter 1, lesson 1 of 5") or "Q&A Coach — Ask me anything" for Q&A coaches.
Click on a coach to enter the conversation.
Ask Your Coach
Quick-access buttons for activity modes are displayed: Presentation, Podcast, Flashcards, Role play, Quiz, Checklist.
Universal Chat Input
An "Ask anything..." field lets you ask your coach a question. You can:
- Attach a file via the + button.
- Use voice input via the microphone button.
- Select which coach to ask via the coach selector.
