Overview

Connect your work calendar to Forge to see upcoming meetings and prepare for them with help from your AI coach.

Supported Calendars

  • Google Calendar — Connection via Google OAuth.
  • Outlook Calendar — Connection via Microsoft OAuth.

Connect Your Calendar

  1. Go to Settings > Tools.
  2. In the Available tools catalog, use the Calendar filter to find your calendar.
  3. Click Connect next to the desired calendar.
  4. Authorize access in the OAuth window that opens.
  5. Once connected, your meetings appear on the home page.

Prepare for a Meeting with Your Coach

  1. On the home page, view the list of your upcoming external meetings.
  2. Click on a meeting to select it.
  3. The meeting context is shared with your coach, who can help you prepare.

Invite Forge to a Meeting

From your meeting list on the home page, the Invite Forge action adds Forge to the meeting. Forge can then join the meeting to assist you, going beyond upfront preparation.

  1. On the home page, find the meeting in the Meetings section.
  2. Click Invite Forge.
  3. Forge is added to the meeting ; you can also click Ask a coach to prepare for the meeting in a conversation.

Prerequisite: a connected calendar. This action requires the meeting to have a supported video-conferencing link.

Automatically Join Your Meetings

Forge can automatically join your scheduled meetings to take notes, with no manual action on your part. You enable this in your calendar connection's settings.

  1. Go to Settings > Tools.
  2. Under Connected tools, click the edit (pencil) icon on your calendar.
  3. Open the Meeting assistant tab and turn on Automatically join my video meetings.
  4. Forge then automatically joins your upcoming Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams meetings and prepares the notes. Activation takes effect immediately for upcoming meetings.

Prerequisites: a connected calendar and a meeting with a valid, supported video-conferencing link. You stay in control: automatic join can be turned off at any time in the same place. You can also uncheck Forge on a specific meeting — that choice is remembered, and automatic join will not re-invite Forge to that meeting (check it again to opt back in).

Per-workspace setting: automatic join is configured separately in each workspace. If you belong to several workspaces, enable it only in the workspace of your choice — Forge will join each meeting only once. If you had enabled it before July 2026, the setting was reset: re-enable it in the workspace you want.

Disconnect Your Calendar

Go back to Settings > Tools, then under Connected tools, click the delete icon next to your calendar and confirm.
