How to Connect Microsoft Teams
- Go to Settings > Tools.
- In the Coach tools section, click Connect next to Microsoft Teams.
- Follow the authentication instructions (OAuth Microsoft).
- Configure access permissions if needed.
Usage During Conversations
Once connected, your AI coach can query Microsoft Teams in real time during your conversations. The coach will automatically use this tool when your question requires data from Microsoft Teams.
Manage the connection
- Check status — Ensure the connection is active and working.
- Edit — Update authentication settings.
Remove the connection
- Go to Settings > Tools.
- Find the Microsoft Teams connection and click Delete (trash icon).
- Confirm the deletion in the confirmation dialog.
What happens when you disconnect:
- The coach immediately loses access to Microsoft Teams messages and channels — it can no longer query this data during conversations.
- Ongoing conversations are not interrupted, but any query involving Microsoft Teams will be ignored or flagged as unavailable.
- Data: Forge does not permanently store any Microsoft Teams data — the integration works in real time and no copy of your data is retained after disconnection.
- You can reconnect Microsoft Teams at any time by repeating the connection procedure.
Revoking access from Microsoft: In addition to removing the connection in Forge, you can revoke the authorization from your Microsoft account: account.microsoft.com > Privacy > Apps and services, then remove Forge's access.
