How to Connect Zendesk
- Go to Settings > Tools.
- In the Coach tools section, click Connect next to Zendesk.
- Follow the authentication instructions (Clé API / OAuth).
- Configure access permissions if needed.
Usage During Conversations
Once connected, your AI coach can query Zendesk in real time during your conversations. The coach will automatically use this tool when your question requires data from Zendesk.
Manage the connection
- Check status — Ensure the connection is active and working.
- Edit — Update authentication settings.
Remove the connection
- Go to Settings > Tools.
- Find the Zendesk connection and click Delete (trash icon).
- Confirm the deletion in the confirmation dialog.
What happens when you disconnect:
- The coach immediately loses access to Zendesk support tickets and knowledge base — it can no longer query this data during conversations.
- Ongoing conversations are not interrupted, but any query involving Zendesk will be ignored or flagged as unavailable.
- Data: Forge does not permanently store any Zendesk data — the integration works in real time and no copy of your data is retained after disconnection.
- You can reconnect Zendesk at any time by repeating the connection procedure.
