Overview
Import training content from the Rise Up LMS platform and enrich your workspace members' context with data from your Rise Up platform.
Connection types: Content provider + Context provider
Authentication method: API Key / OAuth (content) · Client ID / Client secret (context)
How to Connect Rise Up LMS
- Go to Settings > Tools.
- In the Content providers section, click Connect next to Rise Up.
- Enter your Rise Up API key or authenticate via OAuth.
- Select the content to import.
- Synchronization happens automatically.
Usage with Coaches
Rise Up content is imported and indexed for use by AI coaches.
Continuous sync: when you select a course or module for a coach, the selection stays in sync — new steps added in Rise Up automatically appear after the next synchronization and the coach is retrained.
Context Provider (Workspace Connection)
Rise Up can also act as a context provider: an administrator connects the Rise Up platform once at the workspace level, and AI coaches use this data to enrich member context (just like Lucca or Klara HR). This connection is separate from coach tools, where each user connects their own account.
Prerequisites: you must be a workspace administrator and have Rise Up API credentials (Client ID / Client secret).
Add the Context Connection
- Go to Settings > Tools.
- In the Available tools catalog (LMS section), click the Rise Up card.
- In the "Workspace context connection" screen, fill in:
- Connection name
- Client ID and Client secret from your Rise Up API
- Base URL — the region hosting your Rise Up instance (for example AWS, api.riseup.ai)
- Platform URL — the URL of your Rise Up platform (must start with https://)
- Click Test connection to verify the credentials, then Connect.
If you run into issues, see our support page.
Manage the Connection
- Sync status — Check the last sync time.
- Refresh — Trigger a manual sync.
- Edit — Change connection settings.
Remove the Connection
- Go to Settings > Tools.
- Find the Rise Up connection and click Delete (trash icon).
- Confirm the deletion in the confirmation dialog.
What happens when you disconnect:
- Content imported from Rise Up LMS is removed from the knowledge base of all coaches that were using it and is deleted from the Forge index.
- Ongoing conversations are not immediately affected, but the coach will no longer be able to cite this content in future sessions.
- Data: Content indexed by Forge from Rise Up is deleted from Forge servers upon disconnection. The original content remains untouched in your Rise Up platform.
- You can reconnect Rise Up at any time by repeating the connection procedure.
Deleting a coach or the linked workspace:
- Deleting a coach that serves Rise Up trainings automatically releases those trainings on the Rise Up side: they no longer have a coach. The delete confirmation dialog shows the number of trainings concerned before you confirm.
- Deleting the workspace automatically unlinks the corresponding Rise Up company, which can then be linked to another Forge workspace.
- If Rise Up is temporarily unreachable, the deletion in Forge still succeeds; the Rise Up release is then recorded as failed in the audit log and must be reconciled with Forge support.
Context connection: removing the workspace context connection (by an administrator, from the same page) removes the Rise Up context data used by coaches for all members. Past conversations are not modified, but future answers will no longer rely on this context. Your data remains untouched in your Rise Up platform.
