Learner Interface
The main Forge interface includes:
- Left sidebar — Main navigation with: Home, your coaches (COACHES section), Administration link (if admin), and Switch workspace. Next time you sign in, Forge automatically returns you to the workspace you last used.
- Profile menu — At the bottom left, click your avatar to access: Account, Preferences, What's new, and Disconnect.
- Home page — Dashboard with your recent coaches, a universal chat input, and activity buttons.
- Conversation page — Chat interface with your AI coach, side panel for the program and activities.
Administration Interface
Accessible via the "Administration" link in the sidebar (admin only):
- Coaches — List and manage all AI coaches.
- Members — Manage workspace members.
- Analytics — Conversational analytics on data.
To access workspace settings, click the ⚙️ icon in the administration panel or access it from the Coaches page.
Navigating Within a Coach
When you're in a coach conversation:
- Breadcrumb — Shows Coach > Module > Section.
- Side panel — Learning program and activities.
- Input field — At the bottom, to type your messages.
Global Search (⌘K)
Global search lets you quickly find a coach or a conversation. Open it by clicking the magnifying glass icon at the top right, or with the ⌘K (Mac) / Ctrl+K (Windows) shortcut.
- Search across all your workspaces — Results cover every workspace you are a member of, not just the current one. Each result shows the name of the workspace it comes from, and results from the workspace you are currently in also carry a CURRENT tag, so you know before opening a result whether it will switch workspaces.
- Scope — Filter results with the All, Coaches, and Discussions tabs (press Tab to switch scope).
- Keyboard navigation — Use ↑/↓ to browse results and ↵ to open.
- Workspace switching — If you open a result that lives in another workspace, Forge asks for confirmation before switching to that workspace, just like when you click a notification from another workspace.
The search matches your coach names and conversation titles.
